My name is TSHEPO MAKHETHA waBAKOENA, born in Johannesburg and raised in the Eastern Cape in small Town called Mount Fletcher. I studied national diploma in jewellery design and manufacture at Durban University of technology and registered my company “Bakoena’s fashion jewellery” while studying. I did internship in jewellery manufacture at Pneuma jewellers (Quality hand crafted jewellery).

I continued gaining most of my experience, training in diamond setting at Jack Friedman Jewellers. I completed silver mentorship programme 2023 and the 3^rd prize winner for top performance. I love to see my company collaborating with the fashion designers as my company specializes in designing weaved/traditional elegant jewellery.
